Enrollment and Intake

Enrollment and intake for Four Seasons Montessori Preschool and Kindergarten is a step by step process which includes an observation and a meeting to explore the parent’s child care needs, set educational expectations, and determine commitments.

If you would like to learn more about Four Seasons Montessori, you are invited to contact us.

   Step 1 – The Observation

Parents are invited to contact the school through email or phone to set a date and time to observe a classroom in session. This half hour visit to the classroom provides you with a first-hand experience of our programs. The purpose of the on site observation is to allow for any questions or comments that may arise that can be noted for discussion afterward.
The observation is for parents only please.

   Step 2 – Phone Meeting

A meeting will immediately follow the observation. The meeting explores the parent’s and the school’s needs and expectations in order to help ensure a good fit for the child. One should plan for approximately a half hour.

   Step 3 – Tuition

To enroll, a non-refundable deposit is made to hold your child’s place in the program. Enrollment forms will be given to you to complete at your convenience.
Our tuition fees are very comparable to regular childcare centres. We are happy to take childcare subsidy.
Please contact us at: fourseasonsmontessori@shaw.ca or 250-758-8979 for a schedule of our tuition fees.

Step 4 – Intake and class tour

Prior to the start of school, a classroom tour is booked for you and your child. This 30-45 minute visit gives your child the opportunity to explore the classroom with one of the teachers.

   Step 5 – Parent Night

A school evening information session will be held for parents of new and returning families attending the school. The purpose of the evening is to provide parents information about the classroom environment, to discuss the different areas of the curriculum, and to demonstrate some of the Montessori materials. The teachers will be available to answer questions you may have relating to the program. It is also a wonderful opportunity to meet all the teachers and the other families in our school community.
New families are required to attend.
Returning parents are encouraged to attend: It is a new school year with new educational experiences awaiting your child.
